Hi Alison, you are very likely right about the ID, but these ants are so small that you need them under the microscope to be sure they are not another genus, like Arnoldius. Cheers.

No worries Jon I was actually photographing a beetle larva and the ant was by-catch. Also it is so small I'd have trouble getting it clear anyway.
