The Flora of Vic. online VicFlora *Wurmbea* page key to spp. across Vic has more clear wording for the botanical differences between *Wurmbea dioica* and *Wurmbea biglandulosa* :
For your clarification, the nectaries are structures in three dimensions (3D) with the nectar function, and are not identical with the purple or pink colours near them. Hence the gap in the colours showing does identically coincide with the nectary (3D) structures which i can make out here in this photograph.
https://vicflora.rbg.vic.gov.au/flora/key/2110 Quotation: " Nectaries marginal, 2 per tepal, with a gap as wide as each nectary between them, pink "
Please review the nectaries 3D structures on the margins of the tepals more obviously shown in this Flora of NSW online PlantNet photograph: (–opened up from the *Wurmbea~biglandulosa* page : https://plantnet.rbgsyd.nsw.gov.au/cgi-bin/NSWfl.pl?page=nswfl&lvl=sp&name=Wurmbea~biglandulosa ) : https://plantnet.rbgsyd.nsw.gov.au/cgi-bin/NSWfl.pl?page=nswfl&photo=28&file=69/085/Wurmbea%20biglandulosa.JPG .
